Is TigerLady Legal?

We have looked at statutes around the country and cannot find anything that refers to a product like ours. We've put a lot of thought into the design of TigerLady, and did the best we could regarding legality. It does not have any of the attributes that typically render a device of this kind illegal. Here are some thoughts...

1. TigerLady is made entirely from high-impact plastic.
2. TigerLady is not spring-loaded.
3. TigerLady does not have blades but uses claws for scratching.
4. The claws are less than 4 inches long, which is typically the limit for pocket knives in most states.
5. TigerLady doesn't cover the knuckles or enhance punching, so it cannot be classified similarly to brass knuckles.

These are a few of the reasons we believe TigerLady is a legal device. Furthermore, we've not yet been able to find a case where a woman was held responsible for using even a banned device for its intended purpose. We would never recommend, or stand behind the use of TigerLady as an offensive weapon.
